Aneurin Bevan was once asked how long the NHS would survive. He replied: “As long as there are folk left with the faith to fight for it.”

NHS first principles set out that it should be a fair free universal comprehensive health care system for all.

“The NHS commits to provide a positive working environment for staff and to promote supportive, open cultures that help staff to do their job to the best of their ability” NHS Constitution p13

Despite this, 86 recent official recommendations to improve the working environment have failed to deliver it.
