The Founders’ Network is chaired by Claire Gerarda, MBE FRCP FRCGP MRCPsych, a Lambeth GP and Medical Director of the NHS Practitioner Health Programme PHP, and former chair of the Royal College of GPs. She has an understanding of and experience in the provision of general practice, mental health and addiction services.
Dr Rex Haigh is an NHS consultant medical psychotherapist from Berkshire, trained in general practice, psychiatry and group analysis. He is a board member of IGA and a founder member of the Consortium of Therapeutic Communities. He leads a programme of activities at the Royal College of Psychiatrists to develop ‘Positive Environments’.
Other organisations that are part of our network include the Royal College of Psychiatrists, British Medical Association, Royal College of General Practitioners, Royal College of Nursing, Royal Society of Public Health, Institute of Group Analysis, Institute of Health Management, and The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust.
